The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus both received updates to the operating system on September 18th and the new iOS 8.1 update is now available to download for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6S Plus.
Apple says the update brings the company’s software and iOS 8 to the latest devices, which should help users keep up with all of the latest features and bug fixes.
The iPhone XS Max also received an update to iOS 8 on September 20th, although the update will be rolled out over a longer period of time, as it will also be rolling out to all other Apple devices.
The latest iOS 8 update brings many of the same changes to Apple’s latest iPhones, including improvements to FaceTime, iCloud Photo Library and Siri.
The updates also bring improvements to Messages and App Store app support, as well as the ability to access and use certain third-party applications via Siri.
The update is available for both iOS 8 and iOS 9 devices, and can be downloaded from the App Store, the iPhone’s website or directly from Apple’s website.
